Introduction
Underground Garage throws players into the gritty world of illegal street racing – but not behind the steering wheel, rather under the hood. As an aspiring mechanic in this dirty business, your mission is to transform rusty heaps into true racing machines while building a thriving empire.

Developed by a small indie team, the game promises an authentic garage simulation that should appeal to automotive enthusiasts and business strategists alike. But can Underground Garage live up to this high standard?
Gameplay and Mechanics
The heart of Underground Garage lies in its detailed repair mechanics. Every vehicle that rolls into the workshop presents itself as a complex puzzle of broken components, worn parts, and hidden potential. Diagnosis occurs through a realistic OBD system that uses actual error codes and forces players to approach problems systematically.

Particularly impressive is the depth of repair procedures. From simple oil changes to complete engine overhauls – every move requires careful consideration. The game forgives no shortcuts: incorrectly installed parts lead to consequential damage, low-quality oil shortens lifespan, and overclocked engines without proper cooling fail spectacularly.
Vehicle Variety and Tuning
With over 20 different vehicle types, Underground Garage offers considerable range. From classic JDM icons like the Nissan 240SX to European hot hatches and American muscle cars – each vehicle possesses individual characteristics and weaknesses.

The tuning system shines through its realism. Turbochargers need proper tuning, suspension systems require precise adjustments, and aerodynamic components have measurable impacts on performance. Particularly well-executed is the balance between power and reliability – a 1000-hp monster might be impressive, but without proper reinforcement, it won't survive long.
Workshop Management
The business aspect of Underground Garage proves surprisingly multi-layered. Your workshop can be gradually expanded – new lifts, better tools, and specialized equipment enable more complex repairs and higher profit margins.

The customer system introduces a strategic component. Satisfied customers refer the workshop to others, while shoddy work permanently damages reputation. Things get particularly exciting with illegal contracts: modifying stolen vehicles or forging license plates brings high profits but also considerable risks.
Graphics and Sound
Visually, Underground Garage operates in solid middle ground. Vehicle models are detailed and authentic, workshop environments convey the right atmosphere of an underground garage. Particularly successful are the damage simulations – rusty body panels, worn engines, and defective components are convincingly portrayed.

Acoustically, the game scores with authentic engine sounds and atmospheric accompaniment. Every engine sounds individual, and experienced mechanics can actually identify defects by sound.
Long-term Motivation
Progression in Underground Garage occurs on multiple levels. While the workshop grows and opens new possibilities, your skills as a mechanic also improve. Rare vehicles and lucrative special contracts provide long-term goals, while online sales represent an additional revenue stream.
Replay value is ensured through randomly generated vehicle conditions and varying market prices. No two playthroughs are alike, and different business strategies lead to success.
Conclusion
Underground Garage delivers an impressively authentic mechanic simulation that captivates both hardcore car enthusiasts and casual players. The combination of detailed repair mechanics and strategic business management works surprisingly well and offers lasting entertainment.
Despite minor weaknesses in user guidance and occasional performance issues, the game convinces through its attention to detail and authentic approach to the subject matter. Anyone who has ever dreamed of transforming rusty treasures into street monsters will find their digital paradise here.
