Endlich mal eine Fortsetzung, die dem Original gerecht wird! Nia DaCosta hat wirklich verstanden, was die Franchise ausmacht. Die praktischen Effekte sind ein Traum - so viel besser als das CGI-Gewitter, das wir sonst oft zu sehen bekommen. 87 Punkte sind absolut verdient. Der langsame zweite Akt hat mich ehrlich gesagt nicht gestört, im Gegenteil, es hat der Charakterentwicklung gut getan.
Bin ich der einzige, dem 87 Punkte etwas zu hoch erscheinen? Klar, visuell ist der Film beeindruckend, aber diese Subplot-Probleme, die der Reviewer erwähnt, haben mich auch gestört. Manche Handlungsstränge fühlten sich einfach unvollendet an. Trotzdem ein solider Film, würde eher bei 75-80 Punkten landen.
